I don't play minecraft much. Me and a few friends played on java edition for a while using aternos servers.
Recently, though, I've gotten tired of dealing with java. It's slow, not user friendly in lots of ways, takes a very long time to get into, and I don't use mods.
So, I tried using aternos to create a bedrock server. I am familiar with the UI of aternos so I don't think I'm making a stupid mistake, but for the life of me I cannot get the server running. I'm certain that my minecraft is running on the correct edition, and I have tried all version of software on the server.
I have the feeling that this is a minecraft issue, not aternos, but even if that is true, I'd hope the people here will be more help than Microsoft, since all I get there are automated responses.
EDIT: Tried connecting to a highly populated server and it worked. So, I thing it actually is a aternos problem.
