Howdy! could you please help my case in any way possible..?
I Disconnect, or Time Out moments after the "Loading World" message.
This also includes the "Internal Exception: java.io.IOException: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host." message, sometimes the only message is that I disconnected.
I live in the country of Venezuela. I am well aware that I live far way from you guys and that the distance in between to your servers is vast.
My ISP's name is CANTV, it's a DSL service provider.
My download speed is an average of 230kbit/s with an upload speed of 96kbit/s.
It's the *Only* ISP that's affordable, and the country-wide best despite how bad it is.
I don't disconnect often at all, it takes me Hours just to lose connection.
I use Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit, my computer is rather obsolete, I cannot do much about it. 2GB ddr2 RAM, 1GB nvidia video, and an Intel dual core 1.8ghz.
What I have done:
- I have reset all of my network settings and properly set my router.
- I use 1.0.0.1 1.1.1.1 as my personal DNS. 8.8.4.4 8.8.8.8 does not seem to make a difference.
- I have revised firewall and any other software that could bias the network starting from this computer and my router, including antivirus.
During late times in the american continent, I can connect just fine.
At this local time of the day as we speak however, that's *not* the case, *unless* it is a server with a *flat* world, or a world with *not* many things going on per chunk update bottlenecking the server.
I'm aware that there is nothing I can do to my knowledge at this point, so I thought I could hand the traceroute output to traceroute.aternos.org to you guys, if you could please help. I set a ticket at support.aternos.org and sent the output there.. thank you for your time..
Serious client disconnection problems..

This is really, really, really low. It's interesting that you even can use this forum with this connection.

Haha, you're right. My apologies for the misunderstanding, that's not the right unit. it's actually Bytes, not bits.. wouldn't be here otherwise indeed.. my speed does range from that to +500kB/s

Bumping this because I'm in a almost identical situation. Lately I'm unable to play on my server with my friend because for some reason I keep getting disconnected. I log on, can play for some seconds and then my ping rises up until I eventually disconnect. My friend lives in the same region as me and has the same internet provider as well, but only I am having issues.
