Gamemode wont change for me, but changes for other players

    I made a world in creative, switched the gamemode to survival in the world, uploaded it, and am currently playing on it, but my gamemode wont change to survival, even though in the server options i have also switched the gamemode to survival. Anyone else who plays on the server is in survival except me. Whats going on?


    I'm running vanilla 1.13.2, and have very limited commands, so I can't change the gamemode via command. I am also using no resource packs. Help would be greatly appreciated! If you need any more info about what options I have set, etc, I can give it to you on request.

    The gamemode on you set on the options page is the default gamemode. It only applies to new players.

    You can change the gamemode in the console with that command: /gamemode survival yourname
