Server IP keeps changing

    Every time I would close my server (or turn it back on) the IP changes to the name of an animal (example: squirrel.aternos.org) and when I change the IP stop and restart the server the IP wouldn't change but it would change to another name of an animal like turtle etc, and it changes to a .org instead of .me, the name of the server doesn't change but the dynamic IP changes. What causes this to happen and how to I fix it to make it my own IP?

    We use a very dynamic host system. Every time you start your server it is started on a different host, that's why the IP always changes (DynIP).

    We know this is annoying, so we invented the aternos.me domains. You can see and edit your aternos.me domain on the server page. This IP does not change from our side and always matches the right host.

    -> You can use this IP by default, only in case of connection problems you need to use the DynIP


    Unfortunately Minecraft bedrock edition does not support the technology we use for the aternos.me domains. Therefore on bedrock edition you have to deal with changing IP's
