I lost 7h of progress, with backups

    Hey anyone reading this.


    I lost 7 hours of progress, even with the backup function. Suddenly my server stopped and restarted (The server was also lagging the whole day), so I thought it was trying to resolve some issues or something like that. I connected to the server only to see that none of my houses or nether highways existed anymore. It was 12am, I checked the backups only to see that the last backup was from 5pm and the one before that 8am from the day before. I was became a bit disappointed in Aternos because of this.


    Why are backups so infrequent?

    Maybe there could be at least an automatic backup every 3 or less hours because there could be a lot done in 7 hours.

    Your minecraft server was running on a host which had a hardware failure today, therefore your server shutdown and did not save the progress.

    This should not happen, but can happen. I apologize.

    This is not possible due to limitations by google drive.

    But you can create a manual backup on the backups page.
