Is it possible to configure my Server so that it turns on when I try joining it?

  • So I recently started my own server and so far, I'm loving it besides one issue. So I noticed that there is a Stop Countdown that basically shuts the server down after 9 minutes of inactivity because "Aternos has many users around the globe. Unfortunately, they are not able to serve all users at the same time, because their resources are limited. Because of this, they have to stop empty servers without players." I guess this is fair and I respect that they are trying to be efficient however I feel its a hassle to have to go on the website, start the server (which usually takes a minute) and then quickly jump in before the timer goes down. So is there a way to configure my server so that it automatically turns on when I join and turns off when everyone leaves? I can't seem to find a setting about that and just trying to join when the server is inactive doesn't work so maybe there's an add on? Let me know as this would be super helpful if I could figure this out.

    Thank you all!

  • Really? There isn’t even an add on that I’m unaware of? I find that hard to believe. What if for example my friends want to play on the server while I’m away. There gonna have to ask me to turn it on which I find very annoying. Most servers do that and some may even just stay on the whole time. Is this a feature the Aternos team is willing to add in the future?
