Our system only wants you to reinstall the server if the origin server software is known to be not compatible with the target server software.
Which software is currently installed and which one do you want to install?

Pocketmine & Bedrock => Pocket Edition
Vanilla, Bukkit/ Paper, Forge etc. => Java Edition
They are completely different and not compatible. Also you can not play on a Paper mc server with MCPE/Bedrock edition
