Me nor my friend can join my vanilla server

So me and my friend have been playing 1.14.3 survival on my server for about 2 weeks now, and just yesterday we started getting lots of lagback. Today, we tried to log on and we couldn't do anything but move around. Then after about 30 seconds of this it says "Timed Out". If either of us try to reconnect, it says "Encrypting" for a very long time, then it says "Timed out" again. Can anyone help?

Try to generate a new world.

Try changing it to the Bukkit/Spigot versions.

So I did both of those things... Then I uploaded the original world (We got so far and if we lost it it would be devastating) Aaaaand... nope.

If the problem only occurs with your world there is probably an error in it.
