I've been using my minecraft server for a month but now it doesn't stop lagging and my friends and I can't play.
I use Forge 1.12.2 (14.23.5.28.47).

Can you supply a modlist? Also, try to install betterfps, fastcraft and or phosphorus. They significantly improve performance

they wont help with server lags.
What errors do your friends get? -
They do help with server lags, because they increase performance and thus lower the lag

most of these mods are based on light updates which arent calculated the same way on servers
