Server

Hi ! So i made a server for my friend and I and everything was ok. First I log into the server but my friend couldn't land on the screen is "Connection timed out: no further information".I dont know what to do. I restarted server, But even so my friend haves the same text "Connection timed out: no further information".We both have cracked minecraft. Please help ! Thanks ! <33
