I cannot join my aternos server.

    I have been playing on this Aternos server for a bit over a month now. We usually have around 4 to 6 people on the server at once. Recently I have been not able to get on the server and when I am able to play on it it keeps on disconnecting me until I can't get on anymore. The crash error is usually "io.netty.channel.AbstractChannel$AnnotatedConnectException: Connection timed out: no further information:" I am the only one out of all my friends who is having this problem. We have tried changing versions to one 1.16.2 to 1.15.2 (although we ended up turning it back to 1.15.2 because it was too laggy for them) and switching to Paper Bukkit instead of Spigot but none of it worked. What can I do to play with my friends??

    We suspect there is an ongoing issue out somewhere in the internet which causes that some people have issues connecting to our servers.

    For us it's really hard to troubleshoot this as we are from germany and not the USA. Therefore we rely on your help.

    We're already in contact with our network providers to get into this.


    I have some more questions:

    - Are your from the US?

    - Do you live in or near Texas / Housten?

    - Do you get your internet from AT&T or SBCGlobal? If not, who is your internet provider?

    - Do you have this issue the whole time or only in specific time-frames of the day like in the evening or morning?

    - Can you provide us a traceroute? You can do that by opening a command prompt and executing "tracert lion.aternos.host"

    - What is your public ip? You can see this on websites like https://myip.is/
