Server stuck on starting

    Hi;

    My bf and i have a server that we've been playing on for quite a while. We were playing on 1.16.2. Today I tried to download a plugin, which I installed for 1.16 as that was the latest version of it they had. (I don't know what information is necessary at this point, so I'm just giving you all of it.) When I tried to start back up the server, it said "starting..." as it usually does... but wouldn't actually start. It's now been 2 hours, I've reloaded, logged out, tried to stop it from starting... nothing works. I even deleted our world (I have backups saved to my google drive), restarted everything, deleted the server and made a new one. Nothing changed, it's just always stuck on "starting...". The logs say "empty", console is offline. I've tried getting help on the discord but no luck, I'm very frustrated and just want to figure this out asap! Please help me!

    okay, i loaded our backup and here’s what the log looks like. i had tried to download the Slimefun plugin a while back, couldn’t figure out how to get rid of it in the log problems. but we have still been able to play on the server with that there, so i don’t think it’s the problem

    I don’t want slimefun to be downloaded at all, I deleted all the downloads for it in my server but it still says that in the log. I don’t think it’s the problem with my server starting up though because that issue has been there for a while and I’ve still been able to play on the server. This problem only started when I tried to install another plugin

    well, somehow it worked for a second; I was able to join the server, the log seemed to show that my plugin had gotten installed. However I don't understand where the error messages are coming from and now it's stuck on starting again.
