Today i downloaded a X-Ray Texture pack so i can troll my friend in our smp server and it didn't work. Only leaves where being x-rayed. In my testing world it worked. Why doesn't it work in aternos servers?

Which software and version is installed on your server?
Maybe the server has a server resource pack set which get's used when you join it
