  • I do occasional chunk cleanups when the world gets too big and saving/loading starts taking forever

Last week I already tried to cleanup the world once, downloaded the world and realized that the world preview in MCASelect doesnt mirror how the world actually looks. There was some terraforming since last time I uploaded the world, so I started the world in Singleplayer once to see if the changes actually applied, they did and loading the world in MCASelect after that the region map seems to be updated (but only the chunks I specicically loaded in this single player environment). I then uploaded the world and .. Im not sure what happened exactly. It seems like Ive got a completely new world when starting up the server and after shutting it down again, I found 2 different worlds being listed in the World Tab on the Website. I then loaded a Backup and left it at that. Thought it would be on Aternos's part and fixed til next week or so

Next week is today; Downloaded the world again, same as above happened, did the same as above but when uploading the world I instead now get an error (ID: 198 if thats important)

I also want to note that even after loading up the world in a singleplayer environment and then using MCAselect to clean this world there are a lot of chunks missing and I mean a lot of chunks (more than half of the generated world)

    About the world:

The file Aternos gives me is 450mb large

After cleanup, the file is ~90mb large, I upload as Folder (Dont have a program for .zips (Im using 7z))

    Its a Fabric Server, 16.1

    Serverlink prefix: "SomeBeehive"

  • I don't know if this will fix the problem but try to delete the world that generated while uploading your world. I don't know about the missing chunks and such. It might be a bug on aternos's side.

    Hope i helped!:)
