Minecraft 1.16.3 Server out of date

I created a server 3 accounts including myself are able to connect to the server. my friend who is using 1.16.3 release cannot connect to the server.

i have tried everything and looked as much as i can but i cannot figure it out.

Tell your friend to connect to that green IP, that's the dynip of your server.

His username is too long.

It has to be less than 16 letters and don't use invalid symbols. Only use letters, numbers or _
