  • Im trying to transfer my world to a new host. However, the ZIP file is invalid and I cannot open nor convert it to another file type. If there's a solution or an explanation of why, it would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

  • I'm not sure if you mean the ip address or something else, but here's something i found that could be close to it: #GnzfBVwU4HjxzAFy

The exact error message i got was: Unzip failed. Make sure that the file is a valid zip, rar or tar archive and that it's not password protected. Also if the archive contains files with names that already exist you will need to remove them first.

I did not attempt to use any tools to unpack it. However, I attempted to convert the file to an RAR format to see if its the format that was wrong. The converter could not open the file as well. The converter i attempted to use was CloudConvert

I meant the IP. But the thing you provided is the server id, it's also okay.

Where is that message from? From the panel of your new host?

I just tested the download of your server and it was fine.

  • If i may ask, how did you download the world files? Im curious to see if theres any difference in the tutorial video

Also, the message popped up as a mini notification on the right bottom corner when I attempted to unzip it within the other host files

I clicked the download button on the worlds page

I assume that the other host's panel is just unable to read all types of legit zip files.
