Updating server to a newer version of the game

    So I wanted to transfer my server to a snapshot of 1.17 from 1.16.4, and im scared that i will lose the items that are currently in the players inventories. If anybody done this, pls tell me if it will work and I wont get my world corrupted

    On aternos when changing the software you can choose snapshots, and thats what i want to do. I already have my most recent version of the world downloaded, but im scared to do so in case it will break the save file

    Hi, when you go to the software that you want to install, you have two options:

    *If the button says "Reinstall", you'll lose all your server data.

    *If the button says "Install", you should save your server data.

    Always make a backup btw. Also, you should generate a new world to get the cave update.
