hey, here is a log of a server which was with a dyn ip with "whale", my minecraft says "failed to login: The authentication are currently down for maintenance" hope it helps

We had problems with displaying the correct port at the web site, but the problem is fixed now and everything should work again. Actually, the problem you described in this thread even has nothing to do with our recent failure, it's because Mojang's authentication servers weren't available.
