  • Problem:

I experience errors depending on the time of day. In my time, GMT +8, in the morning I can't connect to the Aternos server. However, at night, I am able to connect. The errors vary from the aforementioned.

    Temporary Solution:

Using a VPN, I am able to connect to the server in any time of day.

    Additional Comments:

Don't even try giving me a link for the support link about lag. Nothing works there, and nothing relates. Note: Most of the time I use dynamic IP.

My connection is not an issue because (no vpn) I can connect to other servers, but I can't connect to the Aternos server at a period on a day. Also, I use ethernet, pretty much stable.

The server performance is not an issue, as I get a consistent 19-20 TPS, proven via Aternos dashboard and using MiniHUD. Likewise, Aternos is not overloaded; otherwise, I'd get TPS drops in my server.

The server is Fabric using Lithium and Phosphor.

Did the DNS changing stuff. From Google to OpenDNS, in between is flushing DNS, still my issue persists.

This isn't my issue, but also an issue with my other friends when connecting.

I'm looking forward to an appropriate, efficient, and useful response. Thank you. :)

We are aware of issues connecting to our servers for people from Malaysia / Philippines and the region around it.

The problem is neither caused by us nor can we solve it.

We already reported it to our upstream provider to notify the problematic internet provider about that and to maybe find a way to bypass this.

Experience shows that the success rate is rather low, as external network operators are not always interested in a solution.

Unfortunately, you will have to live with the problem for now, as there is no immediate solution to the problem. However, the past has shown that the problems can disappear by themselves after some time.
