Modded Server not working

When I try to join the server that me and my friends are going to play on, I am presented with a message that states, "failed to synchronize registry data from server closing connection". Both of my friends are able to join the server, but I can't. My other friend was able to fix his issue by making a new modpack on curseforge and copy pasting the mods from the original modpack into the new one. I've tried this as well as a fair amount of the solutions that I've found on the internet. Would anyone know how to fix this issue?
