Hi! I have been wondering if there is a way to export my multiplayer world into a singleplayer world.
I have read a previous thread that says that I just need to download the world from the "worlds" folder in my server and paste it to my "saves" folder in minecraft.
I have done that and the world is there but when I play, the world is at default as if the world is at the state when I first uploaded it into the aternos server, meaning; at the vanilla state.
Is there a way to fix this?
How do I export my server world into singleplayer?

The world in your saves folder must be unpacked?
Did you check the coordinates?
Do you just have a default inventory or are also the buildings lost?

I actually double checked the world. At first I thought the buildings / progress was lost but thankfully the buildings were there.
What is strange is yes, my inventory turned default and all the items that was equipped on my character on the multiplayer server were lost in the singleplayer and my spawn point was reset to the spawn point from the point of when I uploaded the singleplayer world into the aternos server.
With the unpacking stuff, I'm not sure if you meant extracting the .rar file and putting the world folder into my world. If that's the case, yes I unpacked my world folder into the "saves" folder -
This should help:
The downloaded world is the latest state of your world and contains the correct data.
It may happen that there are issues with player related data.
- Download the world and unzip it.
- Upload the level.dat file from the world folder here: https://irath96.github.io/webNBT/
- Delete the player block
- Download the level.dat file from that website again and replace the original one
In case your server had cracked enabled but you use the official launcher you might need to rename your playerdata file in the playerdata directory of the world according to the correct Mojang uuid.
You can find out the cracked UUID and the Mojang UUID here: http://tools.glowingmines.eu/

I did the deleting the player block and replacing it in my world folder and the problem persists
As it happens, I actually have the cracked enable on the server but my launcher is also cracked (aka tlauncher) and none of it is legit.
I don't know how I'm supposed to find my correct mojang UUID though so I haven't tried that yet.
Edit: I have checked my UUID and the one that has my UUID inside the playerdata folder is the same as the one i searched using glowing mines api. -
Did you buy Minecraft?
What is your InGame Name?
Which UUID did you find?
-
I didn't
my ingame name is albertobj
i found the same matching UUID from my playerdata folder and in the search on glowing mines app. -
Then I'd say you did something wrong wehn deleting the player block from the level.dat

Forgive me as I am not familiar with these kinds of stuff.
By "player block" u mean the "player" file inside the level.dat right? if that's what it is, I deleted it, saved it and replaced the level.dat to my saves folder as u instructed -
Can you please try to rename 23ee1b00-e359-33fb-aed1-17a7547e5675.dat to 00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000.dat

I redid the steps of deleting the player block from level.dat and I renamed my 23ee1b00-e359-33fb-aed1-17a7547e5675.dat to 0000-0000-0000-000000000000.dat and my location was still at my world spawn and items in my inventory are missing
-
Did u make it cracked?

Can you please try to make a new world in SP, join it and copy the name of the file in the playerdata folder or the newly created world.

Hi! I have created a new world in sp, The playerdata is "3cf51585-a1ca-11eb-b83c-d45d64bce613"
-
Did u make it cracked?
Yes, the world and the server is used using crack
-
then please try to rename 23ee1b00-e359-33fb-aed1-17a7547e5675.dat to 3cf51585-a1ca-11eb-b83c-d45d64bce613.dat

Thankyou. That fixed it.
Is it safe to assume that I need to upload this new "fixed" version of sp into my server so that everytime I would back it up in sp I would not have to repeat the process of renaming the UUID of "23ee1b00-e359-33fb-aed1-17a7547e5675" to "3cf51585-a1ca-11eb-b83c-d45d64bce613" whenever I want to export it in SP? -
Your server will still use 23ee1b00-e359-33fb-aed1-17a7547e5675.dat
That's also the correct UUID when a server is in cracked mode.
I don't know why TLauncher uses 3cf51585-a1ca-11eb-b83c-d45d64bce613 in your case.
