I cannot change my game mode i'm basically stuck in creative (i made myself op and i typed in the right commands but it won't work) i tried changing to survival but nothing happend

Did you type /op (mc name) in console? Or do /gamemode s (mc name) in console

You either can change your game mode through the web interface while your server is offline or change the difficulty in game when the server is online: '/defaultgamemode 0' and '/gamemode 0'

tl;dr
so if any of u guys came to this to know why changing the gamemode in your server settings you can go to your console and type `/gamemode survival @(a, e, p, r , s, {username})` this works on Minecraft 1.14+ and will change -
