Mob spawning

Hello again!

I have noticed, that mobs does not spawn on my server.
I have noticed this since long ago, but rarely passive mobs spawn, and like no hostile mobs spawning at all and they are rare as diamonds. This problem is bothering me, since i got to the point where i got everything i need to start a village, but since no zombies and spiders are spawning, i cant make any. In the nether there was some pigmans, blazes and skeletons, but there were like 10 zpigs 5 blazes 3 withered skeletons and 1 skeleton spawning around me in groups.

Any idea of what causing this to happen?

Maybe your world was generated with an older minecraft version which could cause some problems with mob spawning as they then do not spawn as often as they should. So maybe try to set the server to the original map version (if you still know it). If this doesn't work you could make a new world, ... .

Type /difficulty normal or go to the your server game panel and have "Monsters" set to true and you see "Difficulty" set to normal!

my server has multiworld or what is it, difficulty hard and mobs enabled, but disabled on certain maps

maybe hard is the problem?

hard shouldn't be the problem, because it should only spawn more monsters then..
a problem could be multiworld. Maybe go over the multiworld config to find out if there's any setting which could lead to less monsters...
