Please allow us to change the fabric version my mods dont work with the current default fabric version my mods require fabric 0.11.6 and aternos defaults 0.12.0.

Fabric works fine in 0.11.6 but when i change it to 0.12.0/0.12.1 it fails to launch

Does the problem persist now? there was an update from Fabric, perhaps they fixed that problem already.

Download your world and keep a screenshot of the mods you have then reinstall the server. After you reinstall the server upload the world and install the mods again then see if you face the issue.
If the issue still persists then you will need to wait for an update from fabric -
