i have all of the same mods installed but i need optifine for one of the mods(vics modern warfare) otherwise it kicks you out of minecraft completely when going into a tab(in creative menu) but this has never happened before

Please try deleting the config folder again on server and client. Make sure you do that while the server and client is not running,
