Aternos is cool, but some users are misusing Delta Attack to flood innocent's servers.
This should be fixed as fastest as possible!

I think you misunderstood what these bots do.
They don't hack your account, they "just" flood, spam and lag the server. -
there might be an anti-bot plugin?
And antibot plugins do not work with this new kind of advanced bot, each bot can have a different IP, and they move randomly simulating players.

but, a plugin named "Ultimate Anti-Bot" can stop this, because there is an option for spigot servers in the config where you can set a value for joins per second, and that plugin has all that we need, all aternos servers use that even mine.
Yes, it does stop bots, but it stops legit players from joining too.

You can reduce the Anti-Bot mode time in the config, and whitelisted IPs can join, it blocks, Yes, Unconfirmed, and Blacklisted IPs, and that is covered in the new update I think.
But I didn't have any issue like that because all user's IP coming in my server was whitelisted so the plugin won't block them : )
IP whitelist is annoying because the IPs change, usually once or twice a month, and the bots can bypass ban-ip because they are able to use Socks5 and Tor Network.

The conclusion here is that cracked is the main issue.
It doesn't matter who we'd say this to as some people simply refuse, or can't buy Minecraft and then decide to use (illegal) launchers. When you decide to do this, you sign up for the risks and security flaws in both cracked launchers and cracked servers.
It's your responsibility what happens to your server as long as it follows our tos (https://aternos.org/tos). Anything else explicitly with your server is simply not something that we put into our hands - such as bot attacks like this.
It is your responsibility to ensure safety and security on your server, this includes authentication plugins and other measures. We won't preinstall such things on your server, nor will this be an issue we'd fix because again, it's only with cracked servers and it's what cracked users/server owners signed up for from the moment they chose to use cracked.
I will be closing this thread now, as most has been said and done by now, and we don't want nor need full fledged discussions about this and that either between people trying to 'help'.
