Server Didn't Work

Hello. I recently waited on the Aternos server line for about an hour, and when I finally got my server up, it didn't work. I restarted the server multiple times and it still said it was offline. Eventually the server turned off, and when I tried to turn it on again, I had to wait on an even longer line. I am still waiting, and I want to know why this happened. Thanks!
