Why arent all the snapshots available for use?

    So there used to be all the snapshots available on aternos but i see uve removed them and only left the april fools one and the latest ones. i just wanted to know why u removed all of them. they are pretty useful if theres a glitch/cool seed u wanna check out with ur friend or just a normal in game feature. theres this escape room that has a snapshot related thingy where the glow lichen turns water into lava but i cant create a server with that snapshot anymore (21wo3a)

    That is a fair point but there are some bugs that i like to see with friends on snapshots, like i mentioned in 21wo3a, u could use glow lichen to make water from lava, and u could also do that in nether, so i just wanted to surprise a friend with this cool bug. all im saying is it would be cool to have them back since the snapshot version kinda looks empty with just a few of them. we would have a lot of options to choose from and theres no downside to having all of them right?

    There are thousands of snapshots. Supporting all of them would just be a huge overhead which we don't need. In addition snapshots for the same version are pretty much all the same - just with different bugs.

    Why should we have the same thing multiple times? To be honest, we won't support all snapshots.

    That's a too huge overhead for a too minimal benefit.
