I can't reset the nether, i tried multiple times to delete DIM-1 and its always the same.
Vanilla 1.18.1 custom world (played in singleplayer before but never entered nether)

Maybe try downloading your world to your PC and delete DIM-1 then upload the world and see if it's still the same or not

Umm can you randomly generate a world in singleplayer and use the nether generated in that world

I just want to re-confirm that you were deleting DIM-1 and not DIM1 right?

nvm i just found an answer...
i meant with reset completely new nether seed but its not possible without changing the overworld
