  • My goal is to create a Bedrock server on my Windows 10 laptop using Aternos, and be able to cross play with friends that play on Xbox, bedrock pc, and maybe even Mobile.

    First Question:

Hi, I was wondering if I were to make a server world on Aternos (I'm on Windows 10 Bedrock Minecraft), that I would be able to have people from Xbox, or other bedrock pc players join the server?

    Second Question:

If I have a normal world on my Xbox 1, is there a way I can transfer it to pc bedrock and turn that world into a server with all the saved progress?

    1) If you install the Bedrock server software (on the software page) you have a server that can be played by all Bedrock players (Windows 10, Mobile, Consoles etc.) from a technical point of view.

Mobile and Windows 10 players should be able to join without any issue.

Due to platform restrictions on consoles, console players are not able to join 3rd party servers like an Aternos one. But, in most cases, you can bypass this restriction with the BedrockTogether app: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/bedrocktogether/id1534593376

    2) You can upload existing Bedrock worlds on the worlds page. But unfortunately I don't know how to extract that world from your XBox.
