so i was trying to make pvp enabled, but it just resets to false again when server is going offline.
found a similar post with no answer, forge-server.toml not saving?
the config just resets, i tried uploading a new version of the file it still reverts back to the original.
any explanation on this?

When exactly do you do that? Is the server online or offline when you change it?
Changing that property while the server is online won't work.
When the server starts it loads the config file (with pvp = false) into RAM . Then you change it to whatever you want. As soon as the server stops it saves the config from RAM (with pvp = false) to the file (with pvp = true) - So it overwrites the setting in the file.
You must change it while the server is offline, otherwise you'll always have the issue described above.
What happens if you open the direct link to the configuration file while the server is offline?
