When trying to connect to the server, it throws it off and gives an error: "lost connection: Internal Exception: io.netty.handler.codec.DecoderException: java.io.IOException: Packet 0/0 (CConfirmTeleportPacket) was larger than I expected, found 52 bytes extra whilst reading packet 0" what to do about it?

1. open your minecraft installation path
(enter %appdata%/.minecraft in the file explorer )
2. open the logs folder
3. open the "latest" or "latest.log" file with a text editor
