I have a creative world on a server that currently runs on 1.12.2. Since the 1.13 update has been released, I would like to know how to update my server to run on 1.13, and keep my world intact. I am aware that the actual update spawn stuff will only spawn in new chunks, but I am not too bothered by that since it is a creative world.
Any help is appreciated.
Try downloading your world in Worlds then later uploading it.Not sure if it will work.

However as you already know minecraft switched the way how it handles worlds.
It may happen that your server performance is much worse than before because minecraft converts the world to the new format while you're playing on the server.
We recommend you to enable the force upgrade mode on https://aternos.org/worlds/ after switching to 1.13 but before starting the server for the first time.
This mode converts the complete world to the new format while your server is starting. This will increase the performance while playing on the server. However if your world is too big it may not complete and you have to go on with the normal converting process.
It may happen that the conversion fails and world data gets lost.
We strongly advise each user who wants to play 1.13 to create a backup on https://aternos.org/backups before switching to the new version.
Hello, thank you for your reply. I am currently testing this using a backup of my world, and I have found that after the queue ends, the server status goes to "Loading..." and will remain "Loading..." until the server times out and shuts itself off. This happens for when I choose Force Upgrade and also when I don't choose Force Upgrade. What is happening here, what should I do?
