I keep getting those "Can't Keep Up! Did the system time change, or is the server overloaded? Running 5561ms behind, skipping 111 tick(s)", even with no players online. When there are players online, the lag is almost tangible and players keep getting "X mooved too fast". Any tips on how to solve this?

And if you are 1.13+
1.13+ has a completely new world format to enable the new water changes. Unfortunately, this new world format isn't really optimized yet and causes lots of performance problems. We've already increased the resources (RAM + CPU) for Vanilla 1.13 servers, but there are still performance problems that cannot be solved with more resources. We highly recommend using PaperMC instead of Vanilla (https://aternos.org/software/v/papermc/1.13.2). It has much better performance and you can even install plugins (if you want).

As much as I appreciate the possible solution, I would like a more in-depth feedback, I'm not keen on adding or removing mods without knowing why.
