Hostile Mobs Not Spawning Properly

    Hello, I am running a Vanilla 1.14.3 server with my friends. Before, I had no problems with mob spawning, but when I moved several biomes away from our homes and followed these Endermen farm tutorials:

    no hostile mobs seem to be spawning near me at all.

    1.14 and newer versions are known to have serious problems regarding mob spawning which is probably the cause for your issue.

    Right now 1.14.2 is known to be quiet stable regarding mob spawning. Please try to use that version.

    Will switching to 1.14.2 delete our world or will it all stay intact? Me and my friends have made a lot of progress on it.

    Im pretty sure you can switch without issue but backup and download a copy of your world file just to be extra safe, I use forge and mods but was able to switch forge versions without deleting my world, and that's kinda the same thing? Can't go wrong if you also download a copy too, always backup your world:)
