My friend keeps losing connection

Hello,

I have no idea how to start this thread so I'll just get to the point.

My friend keeps getting kicked from the server at random times. While he gets the exact same error all the time, which is "Lost connection to the server"

My friend claims that his connection has nothing to do with the error and that it has to do something with the server. This does not happen to him on other and larger servers. If you'd like to get more information, then please reply, and I will try to respond as quick as possible.

(Edit) This issue has been going on for over a month now. Which obviously means, that I have restarted the server a lot.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

I have no idea, we don't know any other servers than mine. Is there anything else you would like to know?

My server is running on spigot/bukkit 1.14.4

With a few plugins. All of the plugins are updated to their newest version.

Plugins: OpenInv, Super vanish, WorldEdit, bPermissions

Please let me know if there is any more information that I can provide.

Hello, we have tried on a testing world and he could stay on it for over 15 minutes, we are still not sure if this is just a coincidence.

Now there is one problem, the world that we originally played on is over 200mb, which means that we are not allowed to upload it again. Is there anything I can do about this? I don't want to use the latest backup because it will remove a lot of content that was made, since the latest backup for that world was made 3 days ago.

Good idea, but I can't do it right now because the server is pretty much offline forever unless I use the backup or someone uploads the server for me.

My friend says that his connection is not the best, but good enough for playing games with large servers. I don't think that it might be his internet that is the problem.

The links you provided have nothing to do with the problem that my friend is facing. Every 3-4 minutes, my friend get disconnected from the server and gets the exact same error, it saying "Lost connection to the server"

We tried it on a test world and he could stay there for more than 15 minutes. We don't know if it could be a coincidence. Right now, am I facing another problem, and it is the upload limit that does not allow you to upload worlds that are over 200mb. I can't find anyone else that has the exact same error (talking about the connection) which makes it harder for me to workaround this. For now, I will play on a hamachi singleplayer world instead. Hope that this may get resolved, or my world getting uploaded.

(Edit) Looking back at the previous post that the Engineer made, I've just noticed that you said "Try to create a second account" while I just downloaded and removed my world and created a second test one, I don't know if this makes a difference, and I hope not. My bad!
