Server won't start. New to modding servers

Hello,

I am having problems with my server. I originally started it up after installing some mods. I have forge and had them all already installed on my computer. I then played and had no issues. When my friend tried to join she got an error that said "Internal Exception: java.ioException: Connection reset by peer". She was able to connect to any other server and I hadn't gotten any error messages in my log except [20Jan2020 14:12:15.996] [Server thread/WARN] [net.minecraft.server.dedicated.DedicatedServer/]: You specified a resource pack without providing a sha1 hash. Pack will be updated on the client only if you change the name of the pack. I started looking it up and most people weren't finding it an issue. Because of that I tried to restart the server, however it wont even start up anymore. Just stuck in the loading "starting up" phase. I assume I messed up the mods somehow, I am just not sure how to fix it. I am very new to modding servers.

Okay so, I have tried reinstalling the server and only installing the Biomes O Plenty mod. I also previously tried reinstalling the server and using an earlier version of forge but that didn't work either. It is saying that it is an incompatible FML modded server when it is open and listed in the launcher. Biomes O Plenty is the only mod that is installed (it's the correct version, 1.15.1) and I have it in my .minecraft folder also. I don't know what else to do at this point.
