PixelmonGenerations-Server bug: Rock Smash auto-closes the server (1.12.2)

  • I just caught a Sawk, who can use Rock Smash. and according to the wiki, Rock Smash can spawn a pokemon like Durant, which is my favorite pokemon.

    Unfortunately, it was identified that the server automatically shuts itself down whenever I use rock smash on a stone block/coal/any rock. How do I prevent another server crash when using Rock Smash? Please fix.


    behavior:

    1. rock smash rarely does not crash the server, when it doesn't, the block turns into an item and no pokemon spawns. my guess is the server closes down whenever a pokemon WAS supposed to spawn, which is mighty unfortunate. perhaps attempting to spawn a pokemon takes up too many resources to reference? this is not the case for fishing, as spawning a pokemon directly from the player using Good Rod never crashes the server. perhaps this has to do with indirect spawning from a player through a pokemon's moveset?

  • The log should share error/crash messages.

    As this sounds like a bug with the mod itself it may be better to contact the mod creator about that

    this does not seem like a bug within the mod as it works in single player but not on Aternos.
