i have been trying multiple times since yesterday to connect to a server that my friend made. however every time i try to it does not let me in. it says something like "Connection timed out" and usually it will say "io.netty.channel.ConnectTimeoutException: connection timed out:" . what is weird is that my connection works perfectly fine and this has never happened to me before. there has only been one time today where i've been able to join my friend's server (an hour ago) but now i can't join at all. i've tried restarting minecraft and i've tried using the DYN ip address, nothing works. my friend didn't add any plugins but she only adjusted the seed for our server. what do i do?
I can't connect to my friend's server

Can you open that IP in a browser?
the page is taking very long to load so hmmmm I guess not. my friend put me as a server operator too
-
Can you please execute "tracert lion.aternos.host" in a command prompt and send me the result as screenshot
-
i tried to input it in the “console” section of the aternos server. in the first pic before the server loaded 100%, that’s what popped up so take that as you will. i’m confused though because when i input it in after the server fully turns on (seen in 2nd pic) it says “Unknown or incomplete command, see below for error” . i’m not rlly tech savvy nor do i know much about coding sorry 😅😅 let me know if i have to do it on another platform/terminal or if i have to put extra characters idk

Thanks for the traceroute.
We suspect there is an ongoing issue out somewhere in the internet which causes that some people have issues connecting to our servers.
For us it's really hard to troubleshoot this as we are from germany and not the USA. Therefore we rely on your help.
We're already in contact with our network providers to get into this.
I have some more questions:
- Do you live in or near Texas / Housten?
- Do you get your internet from AT&T or SBCGlobal? If not, who is your internet provider?
- Do you have this issue the whole time or only in specific time-frames of the day like in the evening or morning?
- What is your public ip? You can see this on websites like https://myip.is/
If you don't want to share this publicly here on the forums feel free to send an email to roman (at) aternos.org . Please also put a link of this thread into the mail so I know to which thread you refer to.
