Will Changing Software's Delete My World?

    Hi! When I first created my server, I made it a forge server because I did not know much about servers. But now I want to change it to a Spigot server. Will this delete my current world? Backing it up and restoring it seemed to also restore it to a forge sever so that will not work, and I want to know if there is any way to change softwares without losing your progress. If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated!

    No. , Once you create a backup before doing that , Then switch the software , The backups will still be here! also i wanna join your server my ign is: Halaayman2013

    If you want to change your software from Forge to Spigot, you have to download the world, then switch the software, and upload the world.

    Thanks, but when so tried downloading, switching to spigot, and then redone loading the world through a backup it still made it forge. Or is there some other way to download the world that I don’t know about? And if so does it save players items, XP, and progress? Sorry for the all the questions I am just very confused and we have spent a lot of time on the sever!
