Awhile back, 2 of my friends and I were participating in a Modded SMP that used one of Aternos' servers. There were no issues for quite a bit.. Until one of my friends, named Colonel, started having connection issues. They'd have to reconnect over and over again, often getting "Disconnected" / "Timed Out" / "Connection was forcibly closed by the remote host." messages. Shortly after, I started having the same problems.
We were able to connect, though. It would just take a painstakingly long time of disconnecting and reconnecting until we finally get reconnected long enough for it to stay connected.
However, now we're doing a RLCraft SMP with only MCA added on. Colonel's problems have now ended, but mine still persist and are getting worse. It's rare that I can connect to the server, and when I am able to, I can only last up to 2 minutes before getting disconnected again. Most of the time, the world is loaded in for a couple seconds, then it disconnects- either while loading things like Player Overlays, or shortly after. The messages are the same as Colonel's once was-- "Disconnected" / "Timed Out" / "Connection was forcibly closed by the remote host."
Noteworthy Information
Colonel lives in Chile, while Chip (aka the other friend) and I are in the U.S.. Chip hasn't had any problems whatsoever, though.
We use Forge 1.12.2, and all 3 of us use the Default Minecraft Launcher.
I've also tried changing my DNS to Google's. (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4.) This only made the problem worse and, instead, started giving me only "Disconnected" messages and not loading in the world at all.
How do I resolve this issue?
