Hours of Gameplay Not Saved! Can't Restore Backup

    Yesterday, my friends and I were playing on our server (Vanilla survival). We have done so much work that day. Today, however, I start up the server, go on and notice that my inventory reset. I checked around our world and saw that most of the world wasn't saved! I have went to the forums and the interwebz to see possible solutions and most lead to the orange button (Restore Backup). I've tried that, but whenever I log on the server, it still happens to be the same unsaved world. Please help!

    i just had a look into your account to find the problem. Unfortunately we had some database issues yesterday which caused that your server was not synced back to our fileservers where offline servers are stored.
    We try, that such problems never occur again. Sorry for that.

    @Roman I greatly appreciate your response! Thank you for putting time to reply, although there was no solution to my problem, I fully understand that it was no one's fault and this occurred unfortunately. If only there was a way Aternos could make up for this unfortunate happening.........key ;) ..... hahaha just kidding (am I?). Have a great day/night ! :D

    I also can't restore the backup of my server
    there is a backup of July 17 at 10:00 am, wich i need
    so i click "yes" then the server says "backup copied succesfully"
    but when i start and join my server, nothing has been changed
    @Roman can you look into my account (also 'stebo02') to see whats wrong please?
    are you or someone else able to download the backup so i can upload it again?
