So, on my single player world the mob cap is somewhere in the upper 70's. But on my server ALONE I cannot get the mob cap to get even above 60, I am using the exact same farm (a modified "ender ender") and when I am not killing the enderman, as stated, the highest I can get the mob cap is around 59. So my questions are as follows, Do multiplayer servers have a lowered mob cap? Is it just Aternos Servers? Is it a optimization with spigot or another plugin? and when there is 2 people on the server is the mob cap split? If so by how much. I would thank those who respond to my question(s) as My personal testing has very inconsistent results.
Thanks for reading!

We do not change any mob settings. They are default on all Aternos servers
-
But on Multiplayer Servers is it less?
-
idk.
I can just tell you that these settings on Aternos servers are default.

The base mob count is 80 but with aternos servers they have lowered it down to 60 to improve server lag trust me I found this out on my server me and my friend are doing a survival super flat and have found out it is 60 but with 1.11 it was 80 and mojang have not claimed to lower it so thats all I know hope that can help also roman I know this is disagreeing with you but it is true I have tested it out on almost all of my servers if you are doing not modded minecraft it will turn out being 70 for aternos if modded it is 60
