can you increase the render distance? it's almost unplayable with what looks like 8 chunks render distance, i have to stop every 10 seconds when exploring and wait for the chunks to load before being able to walk again.

We reduced the render distance on 1.14 and newer servers to enhance the performance.
It's not possible to change it and there are currently no plans to increase the render distance from our side.

well that is just great. i just made a slime farm with literally 0 slime spawns over an hour because the render distance is so bad 99% of mob farms don't even work. i'm gonna enjoy not having sticky pistons or slime blocks.
This is not a problem with the render distance, It's because 1.14 has general mob spawning problems.
