Connection reset by peer

Internal Exception: java.io.IOException: Connection reset by peer

This keeps popping up when I try to join my own server.

I've tried deleting player files like the other threads say, which temporarily works. However, if i die/rejoin it happens again.

By the way the server is pure vanilla, no plugins.

Also, before kicking me out and showing Internal Exception: java.io.IOException: Connection reset by peer, I can walk around for a small while, but mining blocks doesn't cause them to drop, messages I typed don't show up, and I can't interact with anything. Also, my inventory is empty when it should have stuff in it.

Any help?

Never tried, would reinstalling delete everything saved on it though? (aka all your builds)

Nope the problem still persists.
