so i banned my friend and I want to un ban him but when i try to it doesnt work is there like a bug right now or am i just hopeless

How did you try to unban him? with a command or removing him from players tab?

Try again while the server is offline

Well you have to restart your server after unbanning someone.

still if not works then turn off your server
and open
banned-ips.json- if you ip banned himor
banned-players.json- if you name banned him
and remove the ip or username and save the file, then start ur server again.
